I’m very pleased to have signed up Dr. Yu-Jie Chen as a co-blogger. Yu-Jie, who will join the Academia Sinica in Taiwan in October as an assistant professor, is currently a Global Academic Fellow at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law and an Affiliated Scholar at the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at NYU School of Law. Yu-Jie received her J.S.D. and LL.M. degrees from NYU School of Law. She also holds an LL.M. and LL.B. from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. She has had extensive experience as a research scholar at the U.S.-Asia Law Institute, NYU School of Law. Prior to that, she served as a researcher and advocate for Human Rights in China. She earlier practiced at the Taipei-based international law firm of Lee and Li.
