Cornell Law School seeks professor specializing in “Far East law and culture”

I use quotation marks not to be ironic, but simply because that’s how they describe the post. I assume it’s because the endowment for the chair in question uses that language. In any case, they mean East Asia. Here’s the first sentence:

Cornell Law School seeks experienced candidates, whose primary experience and interest is in Far East law and culture, for a full-time faculty position as the Jack G. Clarke Professor of Far East Legal Studies and the Faculty Director of the Clarke Program in East Asian Law and Culture.

And here’s the full announcement.
